What's included on the free tier, what's included on Premium, and how subscriptions work.
Teleperson is free to use with daily quotas, and a Premium subscription removes those quotas and unlocks the in-extension voice and VOIP features. Pricing is set in Stripe — the panel reads live prices, so what you see in the Account tab is always current.
Free tier
Every account gets, with no credit card on file:
- Browse the public company directory — every company another Teleperson user has added is searchable from the panel.
- Up to 3 personal companies — your own Company Hub.
- 5 AI chat messages per day — the Ask AI assistant, scoped to whichever company site you're on.
- 5 Customer Service Quality Index lookups per day — see a company's CSQI grade and the underlying signals.
- Click-to-call —
tel:links open in your phone app, and in-panel Twilio-bridged calling (we ring your registered number and connect you to the company, with IVR menu shortcuts pre-loaded). Free for everyone. - Verified Call Trees — the full IVR navigation map, including per-department phone numbers.
- Customer history — purchase history (when you've connected Plaid) and every interaction you've had with a company through the panel.
Daily quotas reset at midnight in your local timezone.
Premium
Premium removes every free-tier quota and unlocks the features that have a per-use cost on our side (voice minutes, AI tokens beyond a small daily pool).
What's included:
- Unlimited AI chat messages.
- Unlimited personal companies.
- Unlimited CSQI lookups.
- Voice Concierge — real-time conversation with an AI agent that has context across every company in your Hub. See Voice Concierge →.
- Priority support — your help requests jump the queue.
In-panel Twilio calling moved out of Premium in May 2026 — it's now free for everyone, since the bridged call (with IVR shortcuts) is the headline of the Quick Dial / Call Tree feature and gating it hurt adoption more than it helped revenue.
How to subscribe
From inside the extension panel:
- Open the Account tab.
- Pick a plan from the list. Plans are pulled live from Stripe — what you see is what you'll be charged.
- Click Subscribe. Stripe Checkout opens in a new tab.
- After payment, Stripe redirects you to a confirmation page on
teleperson.com. Come back to the panel — the Account tab will show your active subscription within a few seconds.
You'll need to be signed in via Admin → Backend before Subscribe is available. Your invoices appear in the same Account tab, with hosted-invoice links and PDF downloads pulled from Stripe.
Managing or cancelling
The Account tab links to your Stripe billing portal where you can update your payment method, switch plans, or cancel. If you cancel, you keep Premium features until the end of the current billing period — the Account tab shows the exact date.

What we don't charge for
Some things are free for everyone — and stay free even on the free tier — by design:
- Adding a new company to the public directory.
- Browsing other people's followed companies.
- Reading the AI-generated company overview (cached server-side, so the cost is paid once across the whole user base).
- Submitting a correction to a Verified Call Tree.
