Teleperson
Features

Appearance

Choose a Light, Dark, or System theme for the extension panel.

The Teleperson panel ships with a dark theme by default, but you can switch to a permanent light theme or have the panel follow your operating system's appearance setting.

Switching themes

Open the panel's Settings (the gear icon in the header). The first card, Appearance, has three options:

  • Light — Always light, regardless of your OS setting.
  • Dark — Always dark, regardless of your OS setting.
  • System — Follows your operating system's light/dark preference.

The change applies immediately. The caption underneath the buttons describes the active option.

How "System" follows your OS

When you pick System, the panel listens for changes to the prefers-color-scheme media query. If you toggle macOS Appearance between Light and Dark (or change the equivalent setting on Windows or Linux), the panel re-themes within a moment without needing to be reopened.

Persistence and sync

Your theme preference is stored locally in chrome.storage.local under the tl.theme key, so it survives across panel reopens and browser restarts. If you have multiple Teleperson panels open across tabs, changing the theme in one panel propagates to the others.

When you're signed in, the choice is also synced to your Teleperson account on a best-effort basis, so future installs can pick it up.
