Your Agent

How your Teleperson agent handles chores with companies for you — starting with cancelling subscriptions — and where agent-to-agent is headed.

The Your Agent tab (under More in the panel rail) explains how Teleperson can handle chores with companies on your behalf — and how you stay in control the whole time. Today that means cancelling subscriptions; more is coming.

Cancelling a subscription

In your Subscriptions tab, open the ••• menu on any recurring charge — it offers two ways to cancel.

Guided — "Cancel"

Teleperson drafts the cancellation message and opens the company's chat for you. You review and approve every message before it's sent — each one takes its own click. This is the Chat co-pilot.

Automatic — "Cancel for me"

The Cancel Concierge opens a secure cloud browser and does the cancellation for you, one step at a time:

  1. You sign in to the company yourself — including any texted or emailed code. Your password goes straight to them; Teleperson never sees it.
  2. The agent navigates to your subscription and opens the cancellation flow. You can watch it happen live.
  3. You approve the final step. Right before the point of no return it stops and shows you exactly what it's about to do. Nothing is cancelled until you tap Yes, cancel.
  4. Confirmation is captured so you have proof it went through.

The guarantees, either way:

  • It never bypasses a login or a "prove you're human" check — those hand back to you.
  • It never clicks the final cancel button without your approval.
  • You can stop anytime — before the final step, nothing has been cancelled.

Agent to agent — what's next

Today your agent works a company's website or chat on your behalf. As companies partner with Teleperson and bring their own agent onto the platform, the two agents will be able to settle things directly — cancellations, disputes, refunds — without waiting on hold or navigating menus.

The guarantee doesn't change: your agent only acts within limits you set, and anything that commits you — a cancellation, a payment change — still waits for your explicit approval.
